^8 (A)Good and ^(B)upright is Yahweh;
Therefore He ^(C)instructs sinners in the way.

³⁹ But the ^(A)salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh;
He is their strength ^(B)in time of distress.
^40 (C)Yahweh helps them and protects them;
He ^(D)protects them from the wicked and saves them,
Because they ^(E)take refuge in Him.

“^(B)Give thanks to Yahweh of hosts,
For Yahweh is good,
For His lovingkindness endures forever”;
