⁷ Arise,^(A) Lord!
    Deliver me,^(B) my God!
Strike^(C) all my enemies on the jaw;
    break the teeth^(D) of the wicked.

¹⁸ defending the fatherless^(A) and the oppressed,^(B)
    so that mere earthly mortals
    will never again strike terror.

⁶ This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
