New English Translation
Psalm 35:3-5
New English Translation
3 Use your spear and lance[a] against[b] those who chase me.
Assure me with these words:[c] “I am your deliverer.”
4 May those who seek my life be embarrassed and humiliated.
May those who plan to harm me be turned back and ashamed.[d]
5 May they be[e] like wind-driven chaff,
as the angel of the Lord[f] attacks them.[g]
