⁵And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

New International Version

⁵The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies^(A) and to exercise its authority for forty-two months.^(B)

¹⁴And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

¹⁴He said to me, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.”^(A)
