3 ‘Therefore, remember what you have received and heard. And hold fast and repent. If, therefore, you will not watch, I will come on you as a thief. And you shall not know what hour I will come upon you.
4 ‘Notwithstanding, you still have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments. And they shall walk with Me in white. For they are worthy.
5 ‘He who overcomes shall be clothed in white array. And I will not blot his name out from the Book of Life. But I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.

3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent.(A) But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief,(B) and you will not know at what time(C) I will come to you.
4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes.(D) They will walk with me, dressed in white,(E) for they are worthy. 5 The one who is victorious(F) will, like them, be dressed in white.(G) I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life,(H) but will acknowledge that name before my Father(I) and his angels.
