¹¹ for sin, ^(A)taking an opportunity ^(B)through the commandment, ^(C)deceived me, and through it, killed me.

¹⁸ For such people are ^(A)slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of ^(B)their own ^[a]appetites; and by their ^(C)smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.

^18 (A)Take care that no one deceives himself. ^(B)If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in ^(C)this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.
