³⁴ Who then is the one who condemns?^(A) No one. Christ Jesus who died^(B)—more than that, who was raised to life^(C)—is at the right hand of God^(D) and is also interceding for us.^(E)

²⁵ Therefore he is able to save^(A) completely^[a] those who come to God^(B) through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.^(C)

²⁶ Such a high priest^(D) truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners,^(E) exalted above the heavens.^{(F) 27} Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices^(G) day after day, first for his own sins,^(H) and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all^(I) when he offered himself.^{(J) 28} For the law appoints as high priests men in all their weakness;^(K) but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son,^(L) who has been made perfect^(M) forever.

The High Priest of a New Covenant

8 Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest,^(N) who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,^{(O) 2} and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle^(P) set up by the Lord, not by a mere human being.
