²⁷^(A)Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith.

²⁷Where, then, is boasting?^(A) It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith.

²Let me ask you only this: ^(A)Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by ^(B)hearing with faith?

²I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit^(A) by the works of the law,^(B) or by believing what you heard?^(C)
