Good News Translation
7 “Nor are you to ask, Who will go down into the world below?” (that is, to bring Christ up from death). 8 What it says is this: “God's message is near you, on your lips and in your heart”—that is, the message of faith that we preach. 9 If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved.

7 “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’”[a](A) (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).(B) 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”[b](C) that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare(D) with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,”(E) and believe(F) in your heart that God raised him from the dead,(G) you will be saved.(H)
