Romans 4:19-22

19 Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now (A)as good as dead since (B)he was about a hundred years old, and (C)the deadness of Sarah’s womb; 20 yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, (D)giving glory to God, 21 and (E)being fully assured that (F)what God had promised, He was able also to perform. 22 Therefore (G)it was also credited to him as righteousness.

19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead(A)—since he was about a hundred years old(B)—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.(C) 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened(D) in his faith and gave glory to God,(E) 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.(F) 22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.”(G)
