Romans 6:8-10

8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him, 9 knowing that Christ, because he[a] has been raised from the dead, is going to die no more, death no longer being master over him. 10 For that death he died, he died to sin once and never again, but that life he lives, he lives to God.
