International Children’s Bible
11 Sin found a way to fool me by using the command. Sin used the command to make me die.
12 So the law is holy, and the command is holy and right and good. 13 Does this mean that something that is good brought death to me? No! Sin used something that is good to bring death to me. Romans 7:11-13
New International Version
11 For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment,(A) deceived me,(B) and through the commandment put me to death. 12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.(C)
13 Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it used what is good(D) to bring about my death,(E) so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.
