⁸⁽⁹⁾Save me from all my peysha’im; make me not the reproach of the foolish.

⁹⁽¹⁰⁾I was silent, I opened not my mouth; because Atah (Thou) did it.

¹⁰⁽¹¹⁾Remove Thy nega (stroke, scourge) away from me; I am consumed by the blow of Thine yad.

⁸Save me^(A) from all my transgressions;^(B)
    do not make me the scorn^(C) of fools.
⁹I was silent;^(D) I would not open my mouth,^(E)
    for you are the one who has done this.^(F)
¹⁰Remove your scourge from me;
    I am overcome by the blow^(G) of your hand.^(H)
