7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you walk in my ways and observe my ordinances, you will rule over my house and be in charge of my courts, and I will give you the right of access to all those who are standing here.
8 “Therefore listen, Joshua, high priest, you and your colleagues who are seated here in attendance before you. For they are an omen of things to come. I will now bring in my servant, the Branch. 9 Gaze upon the stone that I have set before Joshua, a single stone with seven facets. I will engrave its inscription, says the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the guilt of this land in a single day.

7 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements,(A) then you will govern my house(B) and have charge(C) of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.(D)
8 “‘Listen, High Priest(E) Joshua, you and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic(F) of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.(G) 9 See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua!(H) There are seven eyes[a](I) on that one stone,(J) and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will remove the sin(K) of this land in a single day.
