¹⁴ So Balak took him to Lookout Field^[a] on top of Pisgah,^(A) built seven altars, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

¹⁷ The Arabah and Jordan are also borders from Chinnereth^[a] as far as the Sea of the Arabah, the Dead Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah on the east.^(A)

²⁷ Go to the top of Pisgah and look to the west, north, south, and east, and see it with your own eyes, for you will not cross the Jordan.^(A)

⁴⁹ and all the Arabah on the east side of the Jordan as far as the Dead Sea below the slopes of Pisgah.

34 Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah,^(A) which faces Jericho, and the Lord showed him all the land: Gilead as far as Dan,

³ the Arabah east of the Sea of Chinnereth^[a] to the Sea of Arabah (that is, the Dead Sea), eastward through Beth-jeshimoth^(A) and southward^[b] below the slopes of Pisgah.^(B)
